Guest guest
What rights does a person have? Can they just say your claim will end in 4 weeks without any type of evaluation as to what disabilities youmight have that you would have to try toovercome to go back to work? I am told they are to doevaluation this plus offer an advisor..lawyer which is paid by them..(so he is of no value to a person trying to be treated fairly) but, I was not told of any of this in the call to say my claim was coming to an end.. Anyone know what someone can do??.Is getting a lawyer the only thing to do based (on a lawyer working oncontingency?) Does anyone know how often a person appealing Workers Comp actaully wins? Guest guest
> Can they just say your claim will end in 4 weeks < Here in America, i was given no notice that my benefits were ending. I talked to my caseworker the day before I got the notice in the mail...he said everything was fine, that I had an injury and it would be taken care of. Then less than 24 hrs later, I got the termination letter in the mail instead of a check. He refused to accept any of my calls after that. I got a lawyer and suggest anyone who gets injured on the job, do the same...on the day you are injured! Vivian H.
