Guest guest
What does " Chelating with DMSA on AC protocol intensely for a month or 2 " mean? Do you mean doing the rounds more often than once a week for 3 days? Is it OK to do it with a small child? My daughter is 2.5. Thanks Kasia > > Giving a good quality Calcium can help to reduce lead absorption as well as giving magnesium and limiting flouride intake. > Chelating with DMSA on AC protocol intensely for a month or 2 and then one round every 4 weeks or so as lead leaches slowly from the bones and organs should help, but it can take 2-3 years to chelate lead according to Andy Cutler's HTI book. > > Kenny > >
Guest guest
Hi Kasia 3 days on and 4 Days off for about 4-8 rounds would be OK. If lead is a problem then providing exposure has ended chelating using low-frequent doses would probably be very helpful, I would advise looking at the supplements file here on this list particularly the supps for chelation bit at the end. Without trying to sound like an advert as I have nothing personally to gain from this, Andy Cutler has a lot of useful and potentially helpful information in his Hair test interpretations book for anyone who suspects metal toxicity and it might be worth considering getting it's probably a lot cheaper from his noamalgam.com web-site, around $30US, I think. If there is a reason to chelate then chelating your 2.5 yr old daughter may well help.
