hair loss?

okay..... refering to my last post. when i started getting joint pain,

my doc took me off the xolair for 4 months, and it wasn't as bad. So

we guessed that it was the xolair. During that time i did go see a

rhuematalogist and i did have a blood test come back positive for

arthiritis.... but they thought that maybe the xolair also caused

that. When we had this appointment, she asked me about hair loss.....

and i was like no. but about 1 year later, i am now having severe

joint pain and stiffness and hair loss. My hair loss is getting so bad

that people are noticing. Does anyone have this problem? I have to go

to the doctor on saturday for my xolair ( i get 3 shotts every two

weeks), i think i might ask him about this b/c it is starting to get

bothersome.

I've also been experiencing severe hair loss since I began Xolair. However

my doctor and I have been unable to link it directly to Xolair treatment.

I also began taking Klonipin at the same time as my doc discovered many of

my attacks were anxiety related. Hair loss is a KNOWN side effect of

Klonipin, so I'll never know if the Xolair is involved at all. Please do

let us know if you are able to find a definite connection. Hair loss can be

attributed to so many different things, it may be difficult to link it to

the Xolair.
