I am sorry to hear this is all in a bit of a downward spiral. I well recall the

kind of pins and needles you describe. Are you experiencing sciatic pain too?

You seem to be saying that you suspect that the fall may just have exacerbated

an already degenerating L5? Of course I hope that is not the case...but it

wouldnt be all that unusual either. After you see DrHey you will probably have a

clearer picture of your situation. I have put you on the calendar, so you will

have to come out of lurkerdom again then to tell us how the appointment went.

I am sure you know that it is not unusual for SSD to turn you down the first

time. Are you using an attorney? It seems like it tends to go a bit smoother for

those that use someone who specializes in these kinds of cases....but then

again...not always!

We are thinking of you and glad to hear that at least most of your body

recovered well from the after effects to the fall.
