Guest guest
Thank you Bill. We all have our beliefs. You have yours and I have mine. I will not impose mine upon you unless asked by you and I feel assured that you will not impose yours on me unless asked. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all thought that way? This site is too important for it to become a soap box. Yours for living... For the FUN of it Allan
Guest guest
when i had my back trauma and operation i had no movement in my toes. Why would this be? The reports i received were limited, the drs don't say a lot... They say my problem was L4 L5, would this stop my toes from working? They work ok now after the discectamy. Thanks Maddy. Guest guest
I'm not in the medical field, maybe Deb or will answer you, but when I had nerves stuck my toes were numb and after my surgery it was better. Maybe they were compressed and the discectomy relieved the pressure on your nerves. Just be thankful the feeling came back! haha My hands/fingers do that quite often. I have already had one neck fusion but the disc below is giving me problems now, plus carpal tunnel so I have no clue which is doing it, I just know I'm not having another surgery any time soon. Have a good day. > > when i had my back trauma and operation i had no movement in my toes. > > Why would this be? > > The reports i received were limited, the drs don't say a lot... > > They say my problem was L4 L5, would this stop my toes from working? > > They work ok now after the discectamy. > > Thanks Maddy. > >

Guest guest
It's from the back? I had my lower back, down by 3 and 4, broken in 86. It was broken the same time as my neck was hurt really bad and when my nose was broken. The doc said there was no sign of a brake any more, just degenerative disk disease which runs in our family. Isn't it hereditary or is it from the break? If I stay up too late, my back aches. Years ago, I heard a snap each time I walked up a step, but I don't hear it anymore. About 4 years ago when I saw the ortho clinic, they was suprised I was still walking. They said they were expecting to see me in a wheelchair. I guess that I'm a tough cookie. Guest guest
My toes turn under to the point you can not see the nails on any of them but my big toe. It's from years of nerve damage prior to my surgeries. > > From: Charlene Willoughby <adanaturkey8385@...> > Subject: Re: toes > spinal problems > Date: Sunday, August 22, 2010, 2:30 AM > > > > I get real bad cramps in my toes. Guest guest
You need to warn us when you're trying to quit smoking! We will tread lightly! And smoke quietly! LOL! Take a deep breath Beth.. I heard drinking a lot of water helps with smoking too. Water and Chocolate are the answer to everything.
