Guest guest
I am 40 and have abused my back all my life. I woke up a year ago with stiffness and sharp pain. I went to chiro first. Saw him a hand full of times and was getting no where. Went to regular doc who sent me to orthopedist. Got MRI and report says moderate posterior paracentral disc herination and early degenerative desease at L5-S1. Got bi lateral injections which helped for a couple of months and then went back to elevated pain. Orthopedist said it was not healing, you need surgery. I went searching for other venues and found spinal decompression (vax-d) I have been doing decompression for 2 months now with some relief (pain taken from 8 to a 2) pain goes back up to a 5 to 7 when have any activity, then drops back to a 2 or 3 after 5-7 hours, but still not feeling anywhere normal. I went to an orthopedic surgeon who said I would never get better and need to get surgery ( anterior lumbar interbody fusion). What are your suggestions? Thanks for you input, Kent King
