I don't have asthma, but I have a bizarre throat problem that seems to be allergic in nature. I'm going to try a new medication soon, but if that doesn't help, I'm planning to talk to Dr. P. about trying Xolair. If he agrees, I hope to at least attempt to get insurance to cover part of it, but I'm not very optimistic about this since I don't have asthma. It will definitely break the bank, but it would be worth it if I could get back even half the life I used to live.
