I figured it had to be Dr. S. since doesn't have the best bedside

manner. I have only had to deal with him twice, but both times I was

at my worst point medically and I was desperate to see any doctor at

the office. He was the one who saw me when I was in the hospital and

he thought that I had panic disorder which was causing my breathing

problems and we argued for quite some time about it. Turns out I had

an extra skin flap in my throat that I was inhaling into my windpipe

and causing acute breathing attacks. I had to have this skin

surgically removed so I could breathe normally again. I wonder what

Mr. Know-It-All thought about that? :P

I've found that Dr. S. and Dr. P. are very quick to blame medical

problems on " psychosomatic " or mental disorders. I'd like to see one

of the nicer doctors like Dr. G, but since I'm such a

complicated " problem " case, my chart says I always need to see either

Dr. P. or Dr. S. I will never see Dr. S. again after our arguments in

my hospital room!

By the way, do you get your Xolair shot in the regular allergy shot

room, or do you go back into one of the exam rooms to get the

injections? Do you happen to know if they charge more to give the

Xolair shots than they do for the allergy shots? I assume they do, but

just checking!

Thanks!
