My son learns extremely well from videos-we have many of the language videos (more than 15!) for infants (First Impressions and Bee Smart Baby) which Sam learned a ton of language from that we got from amazon and RightStart.com, difflearn.com also has several. We have tried a couple of videos specifically for kids with autism ( " Rocking Railroad " and " I Feel... " weren't very good imo, and the Special Kids Theme Videos: Things in a day " was pretty good, but directed at kids older than 3yo). We also have the first video from Sound it out Land, and it seems Sam is starting to sight read. I'd appreciate any suggestions, especially in the area of emotions. If you have to get it here in United States, go for it! Guest guest Posted April 25, 2006 Report Share Posted April 25, 2006 I pay the $20 copay for the Xolair shot every 2 weeks, which the doctor justifies because he comes in for 22 seconds and listens to my lungs, which he pronounces fine. I am not charged the copay for the allergy shots probably because I don't see the doctor. Carol By the way, do you get your Xolair shot in the regular allergy shot room, or do you go back into one of the exam rooms to get the injections? Do you happen to know if they charge more to give the Xolair shots than they do for the allergy shots? I assume they do, but just checking! Thanks!
