Van Etten sells an office chair that is adapted to LPs. It has a shorter

seat depth and an adjustable foot rest (so you can sit comfortably at an

average-height desk). His contact information can be found at

http://home.adelphia.net/~vanetten/. (I've used an ErgoChair since middle

school - they're fantastic!)

I have used this chair for 8 years for work. It really was one of the

best chairs I could ask for because it is also adjustable for my

specific needs!

I would suggest looking into this chair! My chair is still in GREAT

condition after 8 years and it really is durable!

I am wondering about something and hoping someone else is familiar with

this. I had a good holiday, off of work 4 days straight. Stayed busy,

took medication, rested, didn't shop much. By Saturday and then Sunday,

I was relatively pain free. I do have some discomfort all the time but

it was manageable. I even did some yard work Sat. and Sunday.

Here is my problem: I work in an office and sit all day. I have a good

chair but I think this chair is a big part of the problem. By the time

I get home, I am worn out, tired and hurting. I don't want to cook,

walk the dogs, do any housework, just get on the couch. I am not large

and have been in good health and physically active. I am wondering how

to find a chair that might help me.

Thanks!

Hi Debra,

I also had my fusion in 1967. I would love to visit with you about your current status. As far as the office chair, I have had my perfect chair for over 15 years. I cannot find another that will sit like this one. It is a very flat seat and straight up and down low back. I have been looking for a new chair and cannot find any that are as right angle as this one, which is great for me. I have not checked the Herman Aeron chair as yet, but have been told it may be a good option. Please let me know if you find any great solution.

Thanks,

Debra

And I would love to speak with you, too!

You will not believe it but as we speak (or write, I guess) I am sitting

in a Henry Aeron chair. I can't get it situated right. I think I

sit up straight, away from the back, on the edge and pull those lower

back muscles all day.

Are you interested in a phone call?
