Guest guest
There is a reason why 'patience is a virtue'. Think back to 5 years ago and you'll see we've come quite a ways. When I finally decided to see what the 'community' was about, there was barely anything out there in the media. Know you can't throw a rock and not hit a dwarf. And about the 'weeman', take a look through any life of LP e-mail addresses and you'll see a trend: wee-this, tiny-that, little-somewhat, mine is petite_isla. We even have a few 'midget-something or anothers' on the list We can't be shocked when we are putting it out there. Those who use or allow the use of the word 'midget' should not be shocked when it boomarangs. And others of us have to work around their freedom of speech and choices. So calling the dude 'wee man' is the least of it and I wonder if the man playing the role is the young man who is known as 'wee man'? Anyone know? > > Did anybody catch the final of the Apprentice last night? > > Well I did, and I saw a commercial for T-Mobile's Sidekick. Guest guest
The Ad agency for this TV Commercial was : Publicis Seattle. I have worked with some of the same vendors and production houses they have. Maybe LPA should send them a commendation?

Yes I saw that one too, and was happy to see an LP ( Acuña) in a " Normal " role for a change. It was a very cool ad, too, also starring Molly , Tambor, Paris Hilton, Burt Reynolds, and Wayne Newton. Snoop is trying to figure out when to add the fabric softener. Wayne Newton text messages back, " Duh Snoop. The rinse cycle. Guest guest
Hmmmm, good idea . Maybe they should be honored at the banquet for recognizing that we can be just 'another guy'. And I'm sure we could get coverage in some Ad business related Mags, get the word out to those folks. Make them 'see the light'. PS. BTW, the dude is the commercial is Wee Man from that TV show. Couldn't remember if it was posted here or sent to me privately. > > The Ad agency for this TV Commercial was : Publicis Seattle. Guest guest
Those poor people wasting their time on a brace and treatment that served no purpose. Never mind the disease was progressing in them while it happened of course. $5000 was not enough but it was something I guess. > > > > > > The following came of the scoliosis research society. Guest guest
Wow! how scary is this? I wonder how many people were hurt by him. I especially thing of all of the young teen age girls that are at such a critical stage and thought they were being helped. D [ ] did anybody see this? Guest guest
Hi , It is scary because, you and I both know he is not the only one out there doing this to people. Providing false hope and treatment, can condemn a person with scoliosis a life time of pain and misery. I wish all of them that are not providing professional proven medical care would get caught. This is just one guy but at least he was caught. Vlaerie
Guest guest
Wow, about time I remember this guy from about 20 yrs ago. He kept pestering about using his brace instead of having surgery. I always wondered how he found me or knew about my problems. I'm glad I was able to somehow see through him and didn't get involved. Too bad there are people who prey on those who are having troubles in their lives. SICK > > The following came of the scoliosis research society.
