Guest guest
Call your PCP. Even if the office is not open, they should have an answering service. They'll page your PCP, who will be able to best advise you. On 8/17/06, sebahouston <sebahouston@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > I am 36 years old and I had asthma for the past 2 and 1/2 years. If these are serious, you need to call your doctor. I have been on Xolair exactly 3 years now. It has been a God send. My asthma is just about gone and I feel like a normal person again. I took a year to see any results but it was worth the wait. Some people have reported having relef after a few injections. Everyone is different. Thank you for joining and posting. Guest guest
It is really unlikely that Xolair is responsible for these symptoms. Much more likely possibilities include you picked up a bug at the doctor's office or that you were working on coming down with something and the timing is coincidental or there's something newly blooming in your area (ragweed count is high now) or.... Regardless, be sure to let your doctor know so he can track this with you. Guest guest
Thank you all for your support. I was able to make it thru the night without having to resort to ER. I went and saw the doctor whom doesn't think was Xolair, just my usual allergy/asthma but at an escalated level. They prescribed some new nose spray to dry it out and better control the symptoms and of course more evil candy. Either that or get in the hospital which I would rather not do this month due to family issues. I am going back first thing in the morning to be re- evaluated. I am happy thou that I found this group, it helped me decide on Xolair, I wish I have done it one year ago... Easy breathing everyone! > > > > Hello, > > > > I am 36 years old and I had asthma for the past 2 and 1/2 years. My > > allergist prescribed Xolair and I was approved quickly by my > > insurance. Guest guest
If you are having a lot of sinus issues AND you can tolerate sudafed, you might want to ask your doc about Rescon MX. It's a prescription (pill) that contains a little antihistamine, a lot of sudafed, and a little anti-cholinergic, which helps control mucus. It's very effective; I've been using it for years Feel better soon, Addy Group co-owner Allergic asthmatic 35 years Xolair user nearly 3 years Remember to consult your doctor before making any changes in your medication regimen. > > > > > > Hello, > > > > > > I am 36 years old and I had asthma for the past 2 and 1/2 years. > My > > > allergist prescribed Xolair and I was approved quickly by my > > > insurance.
