Guest guest
Hello Everyone, 's daughter visited with her yesterday, and said that although she was in a lot of pain and in and out of sleep, had a good attitude and even cracked a few jokes! I don't have all the details on how much of the procedure was done on Monday, but I do know that Dr. Glazer was able to perform most of what he intended to do. I also know that the main reason he decided to wait inbetween surgeries was because a lot of the dura had adhered to the bone and he now wants that part to heal before moving forward. Dr. Glazer also told her that her back was in worse shape than he had anticipated and wasn't sure how she made it this long before having surgery. However, he told that he is making it his mission to fix her and she's ready to move on! has a great deal of inner strength. Dr. Glazer wants her to try and get up today and walk a little. Once she gets up they will fit her for a brace and they are still planning on a Friday or Saturday discharge. Dr. Glazer is still looking at performing the second phase of the surgery in about another 5 weeks. She knows you are thinking and asking about her and appreciates all the healing thoughts! Dianne T.
