Guest guest Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 i'll preface this with SORRY TO THE GUYS!!! =o) i've been on xolair for a little over 2 years. nine months after starting xolair my period started getting weird, and now i spot for 10-14 days before my period. my gyn is baffled, and i've had tests and ultrasounds to ensure nothing is wrong. her guess is that all my meds (not just xolair, but all of them) are stressing out my body, and its reaction is to spot. my allergy/asthma dr is baffled too. if it were a direct side effect of the xolair, it wouldn't have waited 9 months to appear. she agrees with my gyn. i think as we age, our body's cycle can also change....not that i have a lot of experience in that, i've been irregular since i started - LOL!!! my hair falls out in spurts, but its always done that. i think its just natures way of keeping your hair in check. heather cbc_w <cbc_w@...> wrote: I was wondering if any-one had experienced any side-effects on xolair. I have had a number of cycle changes in my life, so it could be Xolair or not. It could be that my heavy inflammatory responses and all the meds were affecting my period and this is the way my cycle is supposed to be! How can any of us tell!?
