Guest guest
Orthopedic surgeon in my case, specializing in spines. HE was honest enough to say that most spines after day 50 or so, show signs of aging, wear, and tear, but you cannot look at an MRI and know in most cases if it's painful or not...some people have ghastly looking rads, but no pain..others..the problem doesn't look that bad, but...it's hitting a nerve. And the pain level, at least mine, has varied over the years from " screaming " to " I'd rather it were not here, but I can manage every day life with help from pain meds 95% of the time " ...though at the 6 year mark it got bad enough for surgery. It got almost that bad again but...now..it's eased up some and life goes on. In a message dated 5/20/2010 6:46:11 P.M.
