Has anyone checked your blood for hypothyroidism? After my last surgery I felt

like I was dying and hurting so bad, heart racing, never slept. I honestly felt

like I was dying. It was time for my yearly blood work with my doctor so I did

that. My thyroid numbers were through the roof (like heart stopping numbers!)

and I had been through so much with my back/spinal cord I thought I was just

still sick from the surgery!! They told me because I had so many surgeries in

such quick succession that my body went into " adrenal gland failure " because it

was basically stuck in the " fight or flight " mode. I would definitely ask my

primary doctor to check my thyroid if you are feeling like this!!

didn't think a nerve block would help? - my gosh - I don't know how I am going

to keep living like this? awake all night - even after taking medication for

sleeping - well I perhaps should just be thankful that I can type this message

as many more persons are more disabled than me in this group.
