Guest guest
Hi Addy: I think it's good that things like this come out for the very few people that might have a problem, but probably not good to make it an in-depth focus. I was also having hearing problems but never thought of Xolair. Instead, I was taking aspirin as an anti-inflammatory for an entirely different condition. Aware that ASA can cause hearing problems, I stopped it, and the hearing problem went away in a day or so. Many medications can potentially cause hearing loss. It's not something anyone wants to be saddled with. Good to be aware of, and then get on with it. Just my 2-cents. We feel we should sort of figure out how to handle this now, while we have and Kathy who have been very responsible posters who do not post messages that would lead to panic or anything and before we have someone come on the board who says stuff like " Xolair is causing me to grow a third head, " or something like that. If anyone has any suggestions or comments on what direction you would like us to take, that would be helpful.
