I tell you, I never thought that I would be 35 and having this much

trouble. If you have been in this group for awhile, you will remember

that I was all set up for surgery this month, but when my husband got

laid off, it was put on the back burner because he lost his insurance.

I am really suffering. I now have muscle spasms that I never had

before. It started on my right side around to my lower back. I never

had them until yesterday. I never knew it could be so painful. When

the pain gets me, I literly jump and let out a moan! I have never had

these before in my life. I heard about them and said, thank god I do

not have to deal with that, well leason learned from that is " Keep my

mouth shut " !

I have been taking some muscle relaxers that my husband had leftover,

but it really made me sleep. I slept from 1pm to 5pm today.

Even since I took them, I have felt a little better, but I still get

a jolt of pain when I am moving or getting up. As long as I am laying

down they do not affect me.

I have also contacted a lawyer about being denied SSD three times. I

have an appointment with him on Feb. 20. He deals with SS cases only

and has an excellent track record of winning. Of course, what ever he

wins for me, he gets a third of it, but at least I can get something!

I also found out that in the state of Virginia, that if you are

deemed disabled by the SSA, you can become eligible for Medicaid. As

long as you met certain income guidelines. If I do there is my ticket

to have the surgery, hopefully be pain free and join life again,

along with the work force!

By the way, I was asked to take a two week break from my aunt today

because she feels I am unable to perform the work right now. She said

I should rest my back and leg and then come back. I already know what

that means, you are not coming back!

I am sorry this had to happen to me. I just have to pray that things

workout in the end and I will have a better life in the months and

years ahead!
