Guest guest
I had my 2nd Xolair shot a week ago. For the past few days I have a rattly something that I can cough to rearrange for clear breathing again. It isn't wheezing. I've never had that before. Could that be related to Xolair? My lungs actually sound quite clear, this rattling is in the large bronchial tubes. Carol
Guest guest
Carol, I highly doubt it. It sounds like thick mucous. Increase your water intake to 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water with a squirt of lemon, no ice. Warm liquids are best. Stay away from people with colds. Guest guest
Hi Pat: Thanks, you're probably right. I have since gotten sick (fever, vomiting), increased the coughing/congestion, and ended up on an antibiotic. I had the cough before I got sick and it did get better with a water increase. I think it needs the abx to finish the job, though. I recall I was hugging my grandson, who had an URI. Carol I highly doubt it. It sounds like thick mucous.
