Guest guest
Hi everyone... I wanted to let you all know that I'm having computer problems and I'm not sure when I'll be able to have it looked at (main reason b/c of money). I had a doctor appt. this am so stopped at the library to log on to check email and let others know as well. I'll try to check posts when I can but I can't get out of the house everyday to do it. Will miss everyone but will get back asap. Take care!! Guest guest
> > Hi! I'm new here! I found this page while looking for candida diets online awhile ago:)I am from Norway but have been living in Australia nearly 5 years. I'm travelling at the moment together with my husband and 2 children:) > > I've had candida since I was 14 but only just found out about 10 months ago, I have been very sick last 5 years not knowing what it was(expecially after having children, and I had a lot of antibiotics those last years) I started to avoid sugar, wheat, milk etc etc for a long time, and went on a 6 week detox suggested by my Nathropath (but it was really hard as I was craving carbs so much) I was feeling better after the detox, but only a few weeks here and there... > > Since I was feeling better I decided to go and visit my family in Norway and after that we went to India to visit an orphanage (my husband is putting up an aquaponics system where he will grow fish and veggies). > > I am now in india and have crashed completely. Extreme fatuige and very dizzy, just lifting one arm is exhausting. I havn't been able to follow a healthy diet as much as I would like on the trip!I'm also not able to get everything here..only small markets.. > > I am drinking alot of coconut water and eating coconut flesh, is that not okay for candida? I thought maybe it has caused 'die off symptoms' and since they add a lot of garlic and tumeric to the food here as well,it could be the reason I feel sick?? +++Hi Tina. Welcome to our group. Coconut water and coconut flesh contain too much natural sugar, so they aren't on my candida foods list. Garlic and tumeric are healing so they can cause your body to create more healing and detoxifying symptoms. > > I eat rice, potatoes, veggies, fish and chicken here and eggs and sometimes curd and some fruit and nuts (but it is not organic) and I use ghee for frying... (I know that curd and fruit is not allowed on candida diet) If I cut out rice I get so axhaused and hungry it is not possible at the moment, I managed in australia better, but I had more choices when it came to fresh veggies and meat... +++Also potatoes aren't on the food list. It is normal to get cravings, withdrawal symptoms, and be very hungry when starting on this program, so that's why it is important to do it gradually. How you do that is explained in Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php > I am desperate to feel better! We are still going to stay here in India a coupla more months. So I would like some tips of what I can do to get a little more strenght? Going onto a candida diet now seems impossible... I will slowly go towards this diet when I get back to Australia. +++It is possible you'll have to wait until you can get on the diet gradually and have the foods you need. > > I have had some wheat here in India, but not too much, I had to explain to the cooks here that I could not eat wheat, sugar, vegetable oils etc etc, so I had to eat the food they prepared the first week:) > > The diet seem impossible, is it really possible?? It will be very expensive and you can't go out for dinner or go to peoples places for tea, birthday parties etc etc.. There are so many candida diets out there, but not as strict as this one.. What do you think of the diet on this page yeastinfectionadvisor.com ? +++Yes it is very possible to do this diet, and that's why members of this group are getting healthy as witnessed by their Success Stories: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php There is a transition period that is difficult for everyone. Other candida diets don't help for many good reasons, and those reasons are all explained in my main candida article How to Successfully Overcome Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php That's why people come here after their previous candida diet didn't help them. This program has also proved to be an overall healing program that improves anyone's health since it provides the combination of nutrients that every human being requires in order to be healthy - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/price1.php It is important that you also take the handful of supplements I recommend which work together with the diet. The place to start is by reading and learning so you understand as much as you can. The best in health, Bee
