Guest guest
Hi Jeff: I'm highly allergic to mold among other things, Xolair has changed my life, it really works. Good Luck, Kathy Jeff <Jeff88@...> wrote: Hello, I live in the former swampland known as the Washington DC, metro area, which is known for its very humid and damp weather. I was born and raised here, which probably explains my terrible mold allergies. I do not have asthma. Has anyone in a similiar situation to me tried Xolair? How has it worked? My worst symptoms are the fatigue and mucous. I am aslo allergic to pollens, dust and cats, but mold is the biggest problem since it is so pervasive. I know, I know, I should move to Tuscon, AZ! Thank you in advance. Any details on cost, availability, etc. would be appreciated. Jeff --------------------------------- Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs.Try it free. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Thanks! Do you have asthma? Was one of your worst mold allergy symptons fatigue? Is Xolair still expensive and only for use in severe allergy cases? Sorry for bombarding you with questions! I am just wondering what I should do. Thanks again, Jeff > Hello, > > I live in the former swampland known as the Washington DC, metro area, > which is known for its very humid and damp weather. Guest guest
> Hi Jeff and welcome to our group, Xolair was created for severe asthmatics for allergic asthma patients where traditional treatment was not helping. There is some talk about it being used for other allergies such as yours, but from what I have heard, it is not available for non asthma allergy as of yet. My suggestion is to ask your doctor. An Alergist or ENT doctor will know for sure. Mold is also one of my worst culprits but I never have other allergies other than mild to severe asthma. I can now say the word " mild " due to being on xolair for just about 3 years. Doug Group founder Co/owner/moderator
