Guest guest
Hey, , Connie, & Joe, Today I'm returning to work after 7 months off. I bought a new chair, at the company's behest. I'm nervous, but hopeful I'll be able to hang in there. Or should I say sit? sonia
Guest guest
> Make sure you get up and move 10 minutes out of each hour. The pain builds up as I sit & I think I can just ignore it till it gets so nasty I just gotta move around. > A question about your chair. What kind did you get? I'm looking > at either getting a Herman Aeron or a Steelcase Leap chair. I work part-time at a non-profit & its budget doesn't allow for corporate spending. (Sometimes I miss corporate deep pockets, but this job has niceness built in, plus they let me take time off for my kids & my volunteer activities.) I bought a manager-style Office Star chair at CostCo. > bring some big-ass bakery cookies Joe, you are so full of sagacious advice, plus a good heart. I baked banana/chocolate bread that morning for my kids (hubby eats healthy cereal), & baked extra for work. I'm so glad to be able to do so many normal things now. (Connie, my recipe didn't turn out too good. It was from Cooking Light. Any favorite banana bread recipe?) (, I haven't read your e-mail yet, but I will!) I'm blessed with a wonderful boss, who is so supportive, who recommends that I work fewer hours, take it easy, not overdo things. Now if I can only stop myself... sonia
