I am also new here so for as much as it is worth..... welcome

I can tell you that I have not had the broken neck like you but have

had major damage in the neck - specifically in the C1-2, C4-5, C5-6,

and C6-7 with multiple nerve impingements and permanant nerve damage

which effects both my arms and legs. Had a anterior diskectomy for

the C5-6, C6-7 a little under 7 wks ago - the first of several I'll

have to have over the next 8 yrs or so my drs say. Had previously

been on a number of meds over a period of 7 yrs (all pre surgery)

with little or no relief. Currently still on painkillers from surgery

- Tylox and Dizepam, not helped much but takes the edge off.

I can tell you that I have experienced what you are mentioning -

along with a few other " conditions/side effects " , but have not been

given a definate explination as to what this is or why it is

happening.

I guess, basically, I just wanted to say that even though I can't

help you much I wanted to tell you that you are not alone in

experiencing this. I was overjoyed at reading your post as it

disproved one of my drs who said that I was a one-off and this sort

of thing never happened. Hopefully someone else here can give you a

definative answer. I wish you luck in your search for answers.
