I don't have any real food allergies, but Xolair has helped my

allergic skin reactions to plants. I.e., I can actually garden and

not get an outrageous reaction that requires pred and antibiotics.

Hey :

I took my first shot of Xolair this friday. I too have minor food

allergies/oral allergy syndrome. I too am hoping this may help with

that - I've heard that it does. I will let you know either way.

I would love to hear other people's experiencies with this as well.

That's encouraging, Addy. My skin has become extremely sensitive since

I went on prednisone, so maybe Xolair would even help with that. It

sounds more like a " miracle drug " every day!

Please keep me posted about Xolair's effect on your food allergies. In

theory it should help...it will be interesting to see if it does in

practice.
