Date: Mon, 15 Mar 2010 23:29:16 -0400 Subject: [neck pain] spinal stimulator question After having spinal stimulator surgery are you off pain meds or do you still take pain meds as well as the stimulator? i am having my trial implanted on march 31. Another question I was suppose to have the stimulator back in dec but because I had started a new job I had to postpone it. I havent seen the doc since then, I was wondering if I should have another mri or catscan before the implant just to make sure that there is no more damage. I have constant numbness and tingly now where it wasnt constant before. Thank you in advance for your answers. __________________________________________________________ The New Busy is not the old busy. Guest guest
It really depends on how well the stim works for you...should you have another MRI..really up to your doc..once the implant is done you will no longer be able to have an MRI....
