Guest guest Posted May 28, 2007 Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 Hello JP, It is *NEVER* a good idea to just stop taking meds such as Opiods/Opiates When you feel you no longer need your meds, do not stop taking them without discussing this with your doctor. Sudden stopping of these meds could have serious side effects!!! Your doctor will help you develop a safe, effective regimen for getting you off your meds. Hope that helps.
