Guest guest
hey! hope everyone is doing well! For people who are experiencing hair loss, are you also experiencing high blood pressure? b/c i went to get my xolair shots on Monday and they had to take my blood pressure like 5 times, and it was still very high. I think it was 160/92. They want me to inform my regular physician. But i was wondering if anyone else is having high blood pressure. Well, thanks. And i want to say that this xolair group really helps b/c you get to discuss things that we might all be expereincing. Love,
Guest guest
hi megan, do you normally have high blood pressure (BP)? there's a lot of things that can affect your BP...stress of the day, meds you've taken, foods you've eaten, physical activities prior to monitoring... glad you're doing well otherwise! heather musiclover0 <musiclover0@...> wrote: hey! hope everyone is doing well! Guest guest
, my blood pressure always goes up when I'm coming down with something (although not that much). Definitely follow up with your regular doc. (You did say they're testing your thyroid, didn't you?) Good luck, Addy > hey! hope everyone is doing well! > > For people who are experiencing hair loss, are you also experiencing > high blood pressure? b/c i went to get my xolair shots on Monday and > they had to take my blood pressure like 5 times, and it was still very > high. Guest guest
I agree. I have never had high blood pressure. I have been told that I am the only one they have ever seen who retired from my last job without high blood pressure and/or heart problems. After my recent hospital stay for influenza I have to (temporarily I hope) take a blood pressure Patch. My Dr attributes it to the Medications I was taking and the stress of the illness. I have been on Xolair for a year and it never affected my blood pressure (now that I have to take meds for it, I worry about it, which of course affects my reading LOL). By the way, every time my wife goes to see a Dr, her blood pressure goes way up. When she gets home it is back to normal. Guest guest
Music, It can't increase your blood pressure. Your kidneys control your blood pressure along with anxiety. Speak to your physician and let them do lab tests. Pat --------------------------------- Bring photos to life! New PhotoMail makes sharing a breeze. Guest guest
I went to my check up on monday and my allergist came in and checked it two additional times because of how high it was and has been the last few visits. I called my regular doctor and will see her next week about it. I'm thinking it's stress because it's only high after I've been to work. I also have a strong family history of hypertension. musiclover0 <musiclover0@...> wrote: hey! hope everyone is doing well!
