Guest guest
This does not take a medical professional to figure out. A little common sense would go a long way. It is a perfect example of caveat emptor. If one is going to bestow divine sight to the oracles, one may be looking for trouble. I took possession of a parrot 3 months ago who was given up by a 75 y.o. woman who's son was treated by the Grand Poobahs of Minnesota for a supposed " fibrotic muscle condition " for over 3 years. He continually got worse and after traveling across country for over 3 years, someone finally had the common sense to question the Royal decree. Metastic cancer and by the time it was correctly diagnosed it had spread throughout his body. Only part of the story, but tired of death she did not wish to observe more. The point being that they hold no monopoly on medical truth and when they make silly statements such as the one regards " all sinus infections " , pomposity shines. -D ----- Original Message ----- From: Amber <mailto:amber@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Monday, January 28, 2008 8:32 AM Subject: Re: sinus infections Well, golly I guess you need to tell that to the Mayo Clinic then. Amber Complete crap. While some sinus infections are " caused " by fungus, others are bacteria, viral or yeast in nature. Even then this is a misnomer. The environment is designed to handle the invasion of the above, an unavoidable reality of taking air in through the nose. It is only when either the environment is out of balance, the " immune system " is compromised, necessary nutrients for maintaining healthore absent, etc. that a " sinus infection " sets in. One shot magic decrees by the Gods of Medicine is ridiculous and laughable at best. -D .
