Guest guest
I didn't really get to indroduce myself yesterday since it was beginning to storm here. I'm 27 years old and live in the south. I was diagnosed with asthma at 11. It was really mild way back then. I only had the one rescue inhaler that I used maybe a couple of times a year. The older I got, the worse my asthma became. I started on beclovent. They then came out with flovent and serevent. Then they added the singulair and thank goodness GSK made advair. I hated flovent and serevent seprately. (I wouldn't take them all the time. They gave me a headache.) Then came the allergy shots which I have been doing for almost 10 years. Then the steriod shots and prednisone burst and the home nebulizor. The year before I started the Xolair; I did 8 prednison burst in 10 months. I no longer respond to 10 mg. dose packs. I do strait 40 mg for 5 days when I need them. Then I found Xolair (well, my doctor told me about it). I was really unsure about it at first. But I needed to do somthing. So I started Xolair. I do the 300mg dose every other week. Don't care much for the needles, but then again who dose. The medication has truly given my life back. I actually enjoy being outdoors again. I love to camp and fish, but with my previous history there was no way. Well, I guess that is enough about me. :-)
