Guest guest Posted May 10, 2007 Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 I have a friend who is on fioricet and his mother is on fiorinal (sp) Both have a good dose of acetaminophen, the fiorinal has codeine also. I do know that when I picked up my friends scripts from Walgreen's, she was concerned as he is also on hydrocodone 10mg/660mg She questioned if he knew that he was taking all of the Tylenol, and stated that out East they don't even prescribe the fioricet any longer. I believe it to have the same affects on pain as tramidol. He is prescribed it for headaches and as a boost to his pain relievers.
