Ellen - hang in there...A church group my daughter and other youth started work

with many back in Slidell and the Northshore area rehabbing homes, etc. (I

unfortunately will be administrative this time because of my lumbar spine) You

come from a place of friendly, great people! I hope you can get the PTs and

doctors to help the way you need them to. Most of the Physical Therapists I

have had to deal with have one thing in mind, the patient, but occasionally they

are trying to reach goals their employers put on them, like moving patients

forward, and getting them off PT. Be sure to ask them what their goal for you

is. It may not be the same as your goal.

What did your MRI report say? Do you have a copy you can show them? I'm also

confused as to why they are putting their hands on you at all like you say. PT

usually involves learning exercises to make the muscles around your damaged area

and your core stronger, not pushing on your back like a chiropractor! I think I

might find another PT!

Don't be too quick to jump to surgery, it doesn't always help.

Hope you're feeling better today.

Hi Mark,

My hometown thanks your daughter n friends for their help to bring life back to

New Orleans. My dad lives in Slidell in a home that had 25 ft. of water. He's

nuts. I didn't realize people were still going down there to help. Many thanks.

My niece met her fiancee' on a roof.

I love the idea of asking their goal for me. I'll let u know how it goes.
