Yes, , you are right. That is why they don't want you to bring your meds to

the hospital. They don't care if you suffer as long as you don't sue them.

Having given all this some thought, I must say that the hospital that I had my

surgery in was quite sane when it came to personal meds. It was two previous

stays that I had some difficulty.

I do know what you mean. I have come across some really nasty nurses.

I spent 8 months in and out of hospital in 2002 with a chronic pain

condition.,

Some nurses were very judgmental on my medication etc, and I even came

across some nurses in

A different hospital where I had my lap band put in, the doctor there

prescribed morphine sub cut for post op,
