Guest guest
Hiya Kori Jo, Thanks for your kindness. Monday morning I'm having the freeze part of the block. I hope he gets the right spot. The back of the neck pain and headaches go from bad to worse each day. He said he would try at another time on the ones higher up if this doesnt work for the headaches too. I have been pretty well depressed for me lately, recent widower with four kids, 11-18, and more physical pain that I can handle most days. Luckily my medical benefits are set even though I'm getting laid off for Christmas. Good luck with your block! God bless us all and remove our pain. ivan
Guest guest
Hiya all, I had the freezing part of medial branch block C4-C7. I have a major pain relief for the last two hours. I think he found the right spots. Hopefully after my pain diary is complete I can get he longer lasting " nerve burning " . I hope he will also try doing it higher up to relieve my damn daily headaches. ivan Hi Ivan, I think you posted something a couple days ago about a medial branch block but I can't find the email and I wanted to respond to it. Did you already have one done or are you scheduled to get one? I've had 2 now and the 2nd one I had a week ago worked for about 45 minutes so now they're going to schedule me to do the RF procedure where they " burn " it or something like that. And if I remember right you were kinda depressed or upset recently, I really hope you're doing better. Kori Jo

Guest guest
Hi all! I just wanted you guys to know that I had a Medial Branch Block on Friday and now that the bruising is better, I can tell that I've had such a great relief!!! This is the area that hurt the worst before they removed the hardware, but they could never get into this space because of the way the hardware was positioned there. Now that my hardware's out and I've still had some pain there, they did the MBB. Holy cow it was pretty painful, I did it without sedation this time-stupid. He will do RF in a month and I'll use the sedation then. I'm done trying to be brave. Anyway, now that my hardware is out and I had that awful L5/S1 facet was injected...I feel GREAT! I have had a decrease in pain by at least 90-95%!!!! Before my fusion in February 2007, I was in pain all day and night ,every day and was an 8-9/10 most of the time. I was having cardiac arrythmias and high blood pressure from dealing with the pain so long and working all along and caring for my young family. So, this is a testimony that you CAN find relief. It's been fifteen years, six surgeries and countless injections and doctors. But NEVER give up! I have to make some concessions to be comfortable, I don't do my old job, I can't work 40 hours, I try to exercize and keep my weight down and I do still take Tramadol everyday, at least since before my MBB (maybe I won't need it now). I want everyone here to keep hoping and trying. NEVER give up. Sometimes it's a matter of finding the right doc or practitioner. --- ________________________________ From: Ivan <darkrabbit2003@...> spinal problems Sent: Monday, October 13, 2008 3:03:49 PM Subject: Re: Re: MEDIAL BRANCH BLOCK/Kori Jo Hiya, he still has to do the right side and top side of my head. Guest guest
CONGRATULATIONS, !!! I'm so glad to read good news!!!
