Guest guest
I have had asthma for as long as I can remember. I am 35 years old. I finally went in for an allergy test earlier this year. They did the skin/prick test, and I was allergic to all but 5 things they normally test for. The 15 minutes I had to wait, was sheer torture. My back felt like it was on fire! Has anyone had similar experiences? I then went in for the IgE test and my count was 475. I understand this high...I am just curious as to what other peoples experiences have been. Inspired by the messages on this board, and my misery, yesterday, I signed authorization regarding Xolair. I am keeping my fingers crossed regarding the amount I will need to copay...will know next week or so. Although I haven't participated in the discussions, reading messages on this board has been reassuring and comforting. thanks for your help and support!
