Guest guest
On Monday (4-12) I will be having a cervical fusion surgery at C2-C3 and C7-T1. My neurosurgeon has been monitoring me with tests and exams for a year now and the spinal stenosis is much worse. He showed me how compressed my spincal cord is in that area and it scared me. I also know that I will be in a neck brace/collar for 6 weeks. I am a bit concerned about this also because I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and mild PAD (peripheral artery disease) in the left foot/ankle. Also have asthma and lymphedema in the Right arm. I had a cervical fusion 25 years ago at C4-C7 and that is still fine. Just tired of all of the pain and the problems with balance, which the neuro. seems to feel may normalize after the surgery. Would you please keep me and my hubby in your thoughts/prayers on Monday? Thanks.
