delaina, i think things will become clearer as you take one step at a time.

the first is to start seeing specialists with your mri. i would strongly

recommend seeing both neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons. at least two of

each. to get their opinions on what you should do.

i think if you stick with this group and see the doctors and maybe do some

research on the internet, everything will become clearer to you and then you

will be able to make more educated decisions regarding your health. this

group helped me tremendously during the period when i decided to have surgery

at

L3-L4 with cage. and the subsequent recovery. best to you. marsha
