Guest guest
Addy, I just came in from mowing my lawn. It is 101 degrees here in NW ARkansas and the humidity is 67%. Asthma isn't the problem. IT'S THE HEAT! (GRIN) Doug
Guest guest
Doug, How long did it take for the xolair to work so well? I am on the 10 month mark and this last week has been as bad as prior but it is humid and hot here as well. Guest guest
I cut the grass yesterday on a hot, humid day and came in feeling fine. Pre-Xolair I would have been sick as a dog. pyle456 <coachmac@...> wrote: I worked in the yard for 45 minutes. So far, NO symptoms. It's still early, but considering the fact that I didn't start wheezing right away while raking grass, even to do that is a HUGE improvement over pre-Xolair. 'Course, the down side is my husband will now want me to do yard work and I may no longer have a good excuse! TAke care, all of you, Addy --------------------------------- How low will we go? Guest guest
Karin, It took a full year for me. I believe it took that long for Doug as well. Hang in there. nnmfam <nnmfam@...> wrote: Doug, How long did it take for the xolair to work so well? I was just about to quit taking xolair when it finally started working. Now, 3 years later, I have the full effect and it's great. Remember, some people can get relief in a few shots, but with most of us it takes time. Each person is different. Trust your doctor's advice. I'm glad I did Doug
