Adding insult to injury and NOW I'm stuck!

Hey Y'all,

Don't really have any where else to vent. Found out today that I was

cut off of food stamps and no one can tell me why! I had to speak to

my worker's supervisor to find this out and now I'm waiting for a

call back from her with an explanation.

I know that because of my pain levels that I do not have any patience

at all, but at the same time, I do not understand why I got cut off!

Everything they need to know about me is right there! I'm frustrated

and about at the end of my rope! I'm not the crying type, but I have

tears rolling down my face which I hate!

IS THERE ANY ONE IN THIS WORLD WITH A PROPER WORK ETHIC THAT BELIEVES

THAT HELPING THE CLIENT IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IN THEIR JOB??? Or

has all of that flown out the proverbial window?

Thanks ! Just when you think you are at your lowest point, they

prove you wrong!!! I may get SSDI on a MENTAL CASE after all of

this!!!

I am so sorry I didn't help you earlier, but I didn't know your circumstances

that well. I went through the same thing when I applied  for disability, I was

going through pure heII trying to get approval and was just about to my wits end

when it had dawned on me to maybe open some of my old records. It was doctors

and prescription meds that got me into a really bad situation a few years ago,

and because I wouldn't let them be opened one time, a PM doctor turned on me, I

ended up having to fire him for that. But to make a long story short, I opened

them for the presiding judge in my SSD case, and that's all it took for me, I

didn't even have to go to the hearing. In the judges own words " overwhelming

evidence " .

Again, I wished I had known, and I hope and pray for a speedy decision on you

case.

If you have applied for disability its possible that it was approved and

that is why your food stamps were cut off....

I understand your question about this sentence, but under the circumstances

I can't really go into detail on the subject. I apologize for any confusion, and

would rather just withdraw the sentence, or you will have to come to your on

conclusion.

Thanks . I'm still waiting to hear what their doctor had to say

about my condition! Today's upset was because they stopped my food

stamps without reason. I have to go to the welfare office tomorrow

with the paperwork that they lost to get it reinstated. They

are " doing me a favor " by doing it this way instead of me having to

completely reapply! I didn't lose the paperwork! They did!!! Thank

heavens I had copies of it here!!!

I know what you mean, it sure does seem to be a convience though, them loosing

your paperwork.  That is one thing I dislike very much though is having to deal

with the govt. One day you qualify the next month you don't, been there done

that.

I say again, I hope it all works out, it seems you are having a really tough

time. Just hang in there though it will get better, everything happens for a

reason.

Yea, it's not that bad getting started, just hope you have an attorney to help

you, because WC can be hard on you even though that is what they are suppose to

do is help you. A good doctor is wise to have also, not just a WC doc that

catres to WC, make sure he is looking out for your best interest. WC don't give

much options on you doc preference and only give you one time to change docs if

your not happy with them.

Good luck, you will need it.
