Guest guest
Patty and ( and all Your early symptoms are almost exactly what is happening to me! I almost fell out of my chair when I read your post. The fatigue level is getting worse as the months go on. Waking unrefreshed from a full nights sleep. VISUAL disturbances ,, my God I just went to the eye doctor two weeks ago because for about 4 months I have had these odd disturbances ( DR. says eyes are healthy, btw) 20/20 vision. Inability to concentrate, night sweats on occasion. I am only 37 and too early for the " change " Until this week, I have been in denial myself. The lymph node type swelling in my arm pit just started about 3 months ago. I can't tell if its displaced breat tissue or a lymph node, but will know soon. All this started noticably about 8-10 months after implants. That was May 1998 that I had surgery - Saline 300cc overfilled to 325cc, Smooth implant - Mentor and over the muscle. ... I can say that my health feels like it is degrading. I told this to my gyno last year at my checkup .. To no avail. He didnt even ask further questions why I thought my health was degrading, just said that stress may be a contributing factor. humm ? Well, Life is stress. I have had stress all my life and mastered it, in my opinion. It's something more than stress. Needless to say I have changed doctors and hope this new lady OB/gyn can help more. thanks for letting me share, R > , > I experienced increasing fatigue to the point of being unable to function normally, (but sleep did not refresh me in the least), visual disturbances, spaciness in my head, brain fog, memory problems, inability to concentrate, sleeplessness, night sweats and heart palpitations. These were the initial devastating symptoms. Others followed these, such as muscle twitching, stiff neck pain, swollen lymph glands, tingling in the extremities, and other neurological manifestations. > > All have resolved. > Patty ..com

I thought for sure he would find something wrong with my eyes, because they felt so weird and I knew I wasn't seeing the same way I used to. He told me that I had 20/20 vision, actually, he said I had better than 20/20 vision and I could correct it back if I wanted to! (???? Why would anyone do that?) I also remember telling him that I really felt that something was wrong with my eyes and that I had saline breast implants, and wondered if he thought that could have anything to do with my visual disturbances. I have never seen anyone look at me like he did before, like I had a third eye or something, and was really, really stupid for even thinking such a thing! <sigh> Patty
