Went to plastic surgeon appt this afternoon. Said a tummy tuck may help decrease

my back pain...takes strain off of the back. He is writing in a request to my

insurance to have the procedure done as a medical (not cosmetic) neccessity.

Says after it is done, clothes will fit better (so depressing to try clothes

on...nothing fits right) and will help my back. Says we should know something in

2-3 weeks. Outpatient procedure...have surgery in morning, home in bed by

dinner. But recuperation is slow...can take up to 6 weeks before I feel better.

I am so excited...and so scared. And willing to try anything to get a better

quality of life!

Who refered you to see a plastic surgeon? I could use a tummy tuck myself, i

need anything to relieve my pain. Went to nuerosurgeon yesterday told me my

constant headach and pain between my shoulder have nothing to do with my recent

neck surgery, and cannot do anything for my lower back pain. So here we go

again with physical therapy. Can't give me anything for pain and oh yea the knot

in my throat is not from where they cut me for my surgery, and now i have to

see a throat specialist.I would do anything to stop some of this pain. let me

know how it goes.

Nobody...he had an ad in my local paper announcing his new branch office in my

town, so I emailed him with a bunch of questions...and after a few emails back

and forth, I called to set up my free consultation. Says he has done a lot of

these surgeries for people who have low back pain.
