I am scared of surgery and they tell me to wait until I can;t stand this pain

any more then they would do surgery. Isn't that a hoot? I hate this pain, I

have had it so long now. Let me know how things go for you.

Blessings!

Ann,

I did have a lumbar spine MRI months ago and it was fine. Not sure if it

could change between then or not. They told me with my neck that they are 85%

sure they can stop the pain but only when I am ready. So I try other things

to see. so your shooting pains they seem to get worse when your legs are flat?

Mine are starting from my knees and I thought it was my knees not the spine

as he is saying is causing it.

Hugs, joy

have been dealing with neck problems since 1986 due to 2 serious car

accidents . I have had the epidurals in the neck with not much sucess, relief

was

only a few months . My pain management doctor recomended Radiofrequency

neuroablathy, which is a nerve block . this lasts up to 2 years, for me it lasted

about

18 months . I have this done to both sides of my neck and feel it is well worth

it .

Hope this helps you .

Thanks it does give me more hope right now in trying to avoid the surgery.

The epidurals I have had before in my upper back and they only lasted an hour

so I am afraid this won't either but I guess it is a worth of try.

Thanks, Joy
