Hi group, I'm a new member. I joined a couple of weeks ago because my

guy was recently diagnosed with C6-7 herniated disk with radiculopathy

(left arm/hand). Surgery was mentioned as a possibility. I knew I'd

learn from you guys, and I sure have. I am so impressed at the dialog

between Shayna and Barbara, and how you guys have taken charge of your

health issues and are educating yourselves in order to get the best

possible care. I'm sorry that you had to go through the 'This patient

is a flake " crap from your various health care providers, Barbara.

I am a nurse and a patient advocate. If you guys have any sort of

questions about A & P or medical jargon you need help with, please ask.

Mostly though, I'm here to learn from the best teachers of all....
