Guest guest
Glad to know I am not the only one! The worst for me are parents and in laws.....my mom berates me for the steroid shots - when done in the right spot I am almost pain free for a few months!!! Who would begrudge me that???? Especially when she has gotten them on joints that hurt etc. and my mother in law will JUST NOT STOP about me wearing a girdle...I am not a big person...do they even make them in a size 4?? Its ridiculous! I think when they hear spine a needle they freak. Funny thing is I am just about to have an epidural- this will be the first one that actually DOES go directly in my spine!! (others were all selective nerve root blocks) JP 1. You need to work out more...join a gym! (tried that, made things worse and now I have a bill collector harassing me because my disability didn't cover their fees) 2. You just have to much stress and that is why you hurt. You need to relax. (ya think? I am stressed because I am in pain). -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
I do. I hear this one from my mother-in-law all of the time. " It's just the weather, the dampness, cold, etc. that is making you hurt " . You need to get off all your meds and go totally herbal (are you going to take care of my kids and house because I can't get out of bed?) 4. If it's just your back, can't you be a secretary or something passive? Yeah, sit at a computer all day when I can only handle 10 minutes of it at home. How to explain to my boss why the frequent sick days because I sat at a desk for hours the day before). Anyone else have more?
