I wrote in with the results of my MRI a few weeks ago and didn't get a

response. If I break it down can someone tell me what it may mean or if

anyone has dealt with this before.

Impressions:

1 Mild degenerative changes in both hips-I'm assuming this means arthritis?

2 Probable simple bone cyst seen involving the left femoral neck as

discussed above.

Is the latter something to be concerned with? Does a cyst mean cancer,

could it become, or should it be written off and it's something that just

happens?

TIA,

Jackie

Jacki; I just had a tumor removed from c-spine, it was

not cancer. They called mine a tumor from the start? I

was told most tumor/cysts on spine are nueroblastoma

and are benign. I don't know about the hip?

Degenerative in spine usually means wearing away or

disintegration on disks. Wish I could help more.

Hey folks I think we have discussed this somewhere before as we are not

doctors.

We are a support group and provide support to one another not medical advice

if one of us were to give the other the wrong advice about a pending problem

it could be disastrous for the one getting the advice?

Let's give each other support that's what we do and who we are.

Thanks

You really need to ask your Doctor to break it down for you - I as a

former Nurse could not really explain it well to you - if I could I

would - but Doctors speak a very different language.
