Unfortunately Jody, we Asthma sufferers, have hyper reactive airways which has

nothing to do with our allergies or Astma. It is from years of insult and is a

protective mechanism, but when we catch cold or the flu, bronchitis or whatever,

our airways immediately swell. Prednisone decreases the inflammation. I am

glad you are better, worry about our health is goin g to be a forever thing, but

with Xolair we can expect to feel better day to day, decrease all of our other

meds when the physician says to and have a better quality of life.
