Guest guest
I had a fusion at C6/7 in February of 1998 and C5/6 in July of 1999. If I had it to do over again, I would in a heartbeat as it took away a huge amount of pain, even with the discomfort of the hip bone graft site. The first one had more pain than the second one and the doctors wisely had me take a lot longer to recover from the second. I still have some discomfort but spent Sunday dogsledding and I wouldn't have done that if it weren't for the fusions. I would like to know about your recovery and what I can expect! Guest guest
Hi Ginger! Thak you so much for responding! What I am wondering about is the discomfort...what exectly are you experiencing in relation to the fusion? I had my C-5/6 in 2002 and I experience some odd things and just wondered if it is pretty much normal! Thanks for responding.
