Hey everyone -

I just sent out an email a few days ago about being on Ibuprofrin which hasn't

been helping the inflammation I have in my lumbar area right now. My doctor's

office called me back and said they were going to put me on Naprosin now.

Anyone have any luck with this? He didn't want to put me on anything too strong

since I'm not as bad right now as when I first came to see him a few years ago.

is giving you a different dose. i took that for awhile and it made me sick but

that was many years ago. ask about Tramadol, it is mild, very few side effects

but very effective for moderate pain.

I used naprosyn years ago for another pain issue, but I didn't have

any luck- and it wasn't near the pain I have now. The bad thing is,

you can't take anything else for 6 hours.... you're not supposed to

anyway ;)

I always get put on naprosen aka naproxen for my chronic kidney stones and it is

an anti-inflamatory. It is a much stronger form of Aleve and is taken on a very

strict schedule. It can be hard on your stomach just like ibuprofen.

  • 4 years later...

How old you are is your business... How old you look is mine. Trudy,Sweetie you are going to be fine. Don't be scared. You already know the absolute worst that could happen. ny has been describing it weekly. That's the worst. And look. He cleared. It's worth everything now that he is showing undetectable levels. I had the worst too.. I cleared. Been clear for 5 years now. Trudy, if they told me I would have to start tx again tomorrow for whatever reason, I'd do it with no issues. I know you are scared. I'm sure I was too. I actually don't remember that

part. I know that I was lucky to have my husband beside me during my tx and you are lucky enough to have the love and support of your husband as well. I promise.. it's going to be okay. You know the drill.. Lots of fluids and try to eat. Start practicing NOW. And that was enough to make me cry. Trudy that is the BEST message ever. I'm sure it made your heart feel as good as it did mine. So happy for you honey. You're going to be just fine. I know it. He will make sure of it. Now. Stop worrying and let Mr. Kinsey take care of his wife please. You're lucky... you got a good one there... keep him. I know how much easier the whole tx thing is when your husband is your rock. Mine was next to me every step of the way. Even for the hard parts. Especially for the hard parts. Just adds cement to your already strong relationship. Hugs,Teri From: "trudykinsey@..." <trudykinsey@...>" " < >Sent: Sat, August 21, 2010 12:16:27 AMSubject: Re:
