I just found this group today and i do hope someone can give me advise on my husband's condition. He had his 1st slipped disc surgery in 2000 and the spinal fusion L3- 5 in February 2003. Now, he experienced the same problem occured before the operation ie. pain on his back and left leg. According to the doctor here, there is another slipped disc and the fusion is not stable. Most probably he needs to undergo another surgery to stabilize the fusion and to put the artificial disc somewhere in September. For the time being, he is on the physiotheraphy session and i just can help by placing the hot pack on his back. Hope to hear from the members.
