Guest guest
, I am so very sorry to hear of your anguish right now with your step son missing and all the pain you are in. I am glad to hear you call upon the lord via prayers to give you strength. I cannot stress enough the importance of faith when dealing with both personnel turmoil. I will definitely pray for both you and your stepson. I would also call the police in that area in report the scenario that you described here. For those Christians who have professed that Jesus is Lord and Saviour, the following scripture holds true: " Ask and it shall be given; seek, and you shall find; knock, an it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 7:7-8 " Another good verse: 1 5:14-15 Be strong and God Bless,
Guest guest
, I can only imagine the anguish you must be going thru... What part of California are they in? I am in San Diego. If there is anything I can do, let me know. Debra <bigred84022@...> wrote: Hello Everyone. I hope all are doing as good as can be expected. I am sorry that it has been so long since I have update everyone. So much is going on. First off I did go see this new neurosurgeon last week but found out that it was not for insurance purposes. My original neurosurgeon has decided to quit his practice and move out of state. I only got 2 visits with him before he made this decision. I don't know why he made that decision but I do that it has now set my surgery way back. The new neurosurgeon did confirm that I have rapidly aggressive DDD and 2 herniated discs. I am losing muscle strength in my left leg and surgery is inevitable. However, he is postponing it. I see him in 3-5 weeks and at that time he wants to put me on oxycontin for pain. I am currently taking 7.5-750 mgs of hydroco/apap 3-4 pills during the day and then 10-650 mgs of endocet 2-3 every night. Even with the pain meds I am still in constant pain although the pills do help to make the pain tolerable. The new doctor did tell me what kind of surgery he would do. He will go the my abdomen to get to my spine. He says that he has found that the recovery time is quicker that way and easier on the back. Now all I gotta do is find out what he is gonna use for the fusion. I don't want bone taken from my hip cuz everyone says that the pain and recovery from that is worse than the back surgery in itself. Dh has another MRI for his knee on tuesday and I am praying that nothing new is wrong with it and that he will not need yet a third surgery on the same knee in less than 2 years. We are also in the process of packing our house cuz we are moving into a new house. Its a slow process due to all my pain. But what has me most stressed out right now is that my 14 year old step son who lives in California with my grandparents is missing. He was dropped off at a friends house on friday and nobody has seen or heard from him or the family since then. My son has a cell phone and he has it turned off and has yet to call anyone. He did not show up at school today. My grandparents are his legal gaurdians and are not doing anything that we have asked him. The mother did not have permission to take my son anywhere with her and my grandparents have yet to call the police and hospitals. My huby and I live 800 miles away and are unable to go and help look for him or help in any fashion. I am hoping by now my grandparents have called the police cuz he has still not been heard from or seen. I am so stressed right now it is making all my pain even worse. I am trying to be strong for my hubby cuz this is ripping him apart. If you pray can you please keep us in your prayers and pray that God keeps my son safe and that he is returned soon. If you don't pray would you please keep positive thoughts flowing that he is returned safely and unharmed and soon. Thanks so very much. in Utah
Guest guest
They live in Oceanside. Still have not found him. My grandparents went to the police station and they told them to come back tonight and they will put an Amber Alert up. I don't understand why they have to wait till tonight since he has been missing since friday. > > Hello Everyone. I hope all are doing as good as can be expected. Guest guest
, Once the Amber Alert goes up I will forward it to everyone I can. I will also keep my eyes open. I live about 20 miles south of Oceanside but you never know. I don't understand either why they told them to come back if no one has heard anything since Friday. I will also add your family to my thoughts and prayers. Debra <bigred84022@...> wrote: They live in Oceanside. Still have not found him. Guest guest
I had both sides of my neck done about 3 weeks ago, I have always had good results with lesioning. The nerves can grow back but the more you have it done the less likely they are to grow back. This was the 3rd time on my neck. I am having my SI joints lesioned in May. Who's your pain doctor? I go to the SMART clinic and have been seen by both doctors there they have been a saving grace. KIM from Salt Lake > > I saw my pain doctor yesterday. Guest guest
I guess I am lucky as my pain is controlled by my primary doctor and my orthro doctor. They work together with all my doctors. If I have a problem they call each other or send letters so they all know what is going on. I have had so much given to me that does not work but now that all are working together I have less meds to take and they work better. I could go to a pain clinic but that is just one more doctor appointment I have to worry about and I know that the care I am getting is good. When I have my surgery on my back then we will see how that goes. My back doctor is great and I trust him too. I have had these doctors for years that deal with my back so that may be why we have a good repor or what ever you call it. When I need something they fight with me to do it if the insurance says no. I guess I am lucky that I live where I do. Barbi -- Re: Update on in Utah My pain doctor is Isani and the doctor who is doing the procedure is Lorodon.
