C8? I thought there was 7 cervical total then the thoracic starts.

You are correct...7 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar and then the tailbone.

OK...so this brings up a question from me <G> I know that there is a

S-1.....how much lower do they go from there? The pain I feel on my right

side feels lower than S-1.

Well that is confusing as hell! WHY would there be a nerve there, but no

vertebrae to correspond? Are there more in the spine like that?

I suppose it could be referred to as a C7-S1 nerve but its easier to

say C7-8......Just my humble opine

Sorry but you mean C7-T1. The thoracic (T) comes after the Cervical.

LOL...had to get my paramedic book out to be sure, but here we go with the

spinal VERTEBRAE (LOL): 7 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and the

fused coccyx (tailbone)

By not mentioning the exact " object " it leads the reader to

determine their own pleasure source. If you choose fingers,

vegetables, toys, etc... that is your choice.

So is it finger licking good for you?
